IBPS SO (Specialist Officer) Exam Pattern 2016

IBPS SO (Specialist Officer) Exam Pattern 2016 is decided by the exam conducting authority i.e. Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). This pattern indicates the basic structure, marking scheme and the special features of the main examination. The structure of the Online CWE will be as follows:

The above tests except the Test of English Language will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi.


 

Mode of the Exam

This examination will be organized in online mode. It means that this exam will be computer – based test (CBT)

Marking Scheme

As per the norms of IBPS SO (Specialist Officer)  2016 Exam Pattern, there are total 200 questions. Each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark. No marks will be provided for marking more than one choice

Penalty for Wrong Answers

There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate; there will be no penalty for that question.

Type of the exam

According to the Exam Pattern of IBPS SO 2016, this exam will be objective in nature with five choices and exactly one correct answer.
